Fifth Preference EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program
Created in the 1990's to stimulate the economy in the US. The Immigrant Investor Program attracts billions of dollars to the US economy. It has become a vital source in the US for economic growth. The EB-5 only purpose is to create jobs and growth.
- Minimum investment of $1 million dollars or $500,000 dollars if investment is in a rural or high unemployment area. Unemployment areas are areas with at least 150% of the national employment rate at the time of application.
- Must create at least ten jobs
- Must be able to invest directly in a job creating business or must be able to invest through regional centers.
What are regional centers?
Regional centers are economic entities that promote economic growth, regional productivity, creates jobs and capital investments. These centers are growing and becoming the vehicle for EB-5 investors.
